Every pimple leaves a red mark/scar. My cysts(you can't eally tell from the picture) always leaves a red mark, a boxcar scar, or an ice pick scar. As you can see, all of these red marks are on my face. My skin is so red that my fave always looks like a different color from the rest of my body. A few of the big ones are almost a year old. Last summer, I had a bad experience with retain a(completely my fault bc I used 0.1% right off the bat and I put on too much every night), and ever since then, my skin scars easily for every blemish. Idk what to do anymore. Suggestions/insight would be appreciated.
P.S. I haven't gone on accutane. I've tried several times but my dermatologist is very flaky. I'm currently in the process of switching to a new doctor

Quit Retin A now. Get help asap or you risk permanent scarring. You seem to scar easily so I would personally leave out Accutane as that will likely cause new inflamed papule/cystic pimples that will take forever to heal and thus likely to leave a scar, not to mention the countless of other negative side affects...not worth it.
Hi there, I get the red "hyperpigmentation" red marks after the acne zit is gone, some seem similar to what you have. I have been looking up LACTIC ACID peels recently... look those up it looks like those work amazingly and specifically for the red marks left after acne.
