Dear everyone,
I am planning to get fractional co2 done for my acne scars. The problem is: I work the night shift pretty much everyday. Will this irregular sleep pattern affect my skin's ability to regenerate (produce collagen) even if I get 8 hours of sleep daily?
I read somewhere that the skin best repairs itself during 11pm to 3am - however, I wonder if this information is scientifically proven or not.
Cheers
It's not necessarily irregular if you've been doing it for quite a while now. Your body is accustomed to it. You'll be fine. As for you reading it somewhere it's most likely pseudoscience, unless it referenced actual studies.
With that logic everyone that works night-shifts has crappy skin which isn't the case haha
Good luck
