well....first time poster...been looking for help for a long time and this is my last resort.

Some back ground info:

I'm 18 and had mild/bad acne. Mostly on the forehead and checks. Now my forehead is fine. Perfect. Nothings there. I still get 1-2 occasional pimples on my checks now and then.

Problem: The acne has left these dark spots/scars on my face which have been there for about 1-2 years.

I have been using glyocialic acid peel 30% - and dont worry i've been doing it saftly and following the instructions.

Will this have any help?

Also, today i did the peel for the 3rd time and one of my spots started to bleed by its self during the peel. Will this leave a scar/ permanent spot?

thanks

Using a glycolic peel should definitely help fade the scars over time. Keep doing that 1-2 times a week. As for the one that started to bleed, maybe it wasn't just a dark spot but a scab of post acne? Either way, another thing that you should be using daily is sunscreen, this will help the spots from darkening and when using peels your skin will be more sensitive to the sun. Makes sure it has an spf of 30.
