Hi,

How does middle aged man start dermarolling? He wants to get rid of wrinkes on forehead but most importantly, he wants to improve the box scars on the sides of his face. I really would appreciate your help in finding out where to buy it, what to use with it, and the size of the needles I should get. Also, which wuold be better, the dermapen or dermaroller?

Most importantly he does not want to cause damage to his skin! He already has sensitive skin.

Thanks for yourhlep.

I would get the dermaroller if I were you. I got mine on amazon.com ... I would look for one not made in China, though mine is and it's fine. For scars it's best to get a 1.5mm size and use it once every 6 weeks. For best results right after you use it apply something that is collagen boosting. There are lots of vitamin c serums out there but vitamin c looses it's potency and effectiveness after 24 hours. So I just watched youtube videos on how to make your own, then bought vitamin c crystals and made a fresh batch every time I used the dermaroller. There are lots of videos on youtube of how people use the dermaroller. You can numb your face with ice or numbing cream first if you need to. I try to plan it so it is cloudy for a few days after so that I don't have to wear sunscreen right after. Just avoid the sun for a few days.
