I found a doc here who has the Fraxel Re:pair laser (among others) and was thinking of making an appointment for a consultation, but wanted to see what you guys think I should do and what I should realistically be expecting to accomplish/how many procedures you think I should mentally prepare myself for/whatever. Obviously it requires a professional opinion but I want outside opinions first.

The scars are many years old (maybe 12ish?) and have been through many home lactic acid and glycolic acid peels, but no procedures, although I did try microneedling a couple times.

While I don't love the remaining redness, it doesn't phase me much because I can always hide that with makeup. It's the pitted stuff I despise because makeup accentuates it.

Thanks so much for any advice. So sick of living with this and I've been especially self conscious about it lately.

I've done a variety of home peels, which may have helped a little, but what remains has to be too deep for peels. They're definitely very visible in any kind of indirect light. So at this point I'm curious about what is best suited for this type of scarring beyond that.
