If a pimple were to appear over a scar would that get rid of the scar?

good question , when i was younger like around 17 i think it did for ME , but i never had a pimple appear again so not sure

No, it wouldn't improve the scar.This has happened to me many times.

A pimple that appears over your scar is the same as a pimple appearing anywhere else on your skin.In fact, if you're unlucky and your pimple scars, your original scar could end up looking worse than before.

I guess if you have a rolling scar, or boxcar and then get a big enough pimple over it, during the time that the pimple is active, your scar would be "under the pimple" and therefore not visible.But when the pimple goes away the scar remains as it was, or worse, if the pimple led to more scarring.
