One of my indedented scars has scabbed over from needling

Is this good?

Ive had this scar for a year now and has never scabbed when needling. I think i must have gone deeper past the scar tissue (hopefully). Its on thin skin and quite old, so what are the chances of it going away by like 80%?

Its a very dark scab too, quite obvious but not flat.

How long do these scabs last?

so desperate to see whats underneath..

Try to keep the scab moist so it peels more slowly, and don't pick at it. You can use aquaphor to keep it moist.

Okay, i'll keep it moist.

cant wait to see whats underneath.

last time i needled (on nose) it actually got rid of the scar, it was only shallow.

I had a boxscar on my nose.

I used acupuncture needles, they were from japan. I needled it (dabbed it a few times utntil it bled) and for a few days it was red and a bit dry (dont know how to describe it) After about a week or so it was filled in by 80%. I continued to needle it, i waited a few days before doing it again, and it then flattened out (i have looked at it in all lights, i even got a torch out and inspected it and it has now gone)

I prefer needling to lasers etc.lasers dont always work and cost money.

intresting i might give this a try as well so you made sure it was bleeding bad then for it to scab

I wouldnt say it was bleeding bad, just a few pricks and spots of blood. I did it before going to sleep and i didnt wipe the blood away because i wanted the scab to form and level it out.

The needles were from Japan, i cant remeber the size, they were relatively small. Most people use insulin needles i think.

i did alot of reading on this topic and searched for a lot of case studies.

Please do the same.

Anyway, the scab is still there.

It is becoming a bit dry and flakey but i will not pul it off at all.

This is difficult because i am a compulsive skin picker, this is my last scar and i want it gone so bad.

Okay, but please read up on it before hand.

Also, the collagen is still forming even after the scab comes off, for about 90 days after and sometimes it will require several treatments.

My scab is still here and i am so tempted to pick it off. Its better than having an indent though

i would think the blood is a good thing, it shows the body is actually repairing. remember your blood has alot of nutrients. so if its drawn to the surface, its most likely healing everything beneath as well. i just needled this weekend, and i got the pin point scabs. i kept them moist with jojoba oil. but it fell off a day later. but its looking good now. im using the suction tool from own doc as well. im seeing results !!

Its fallen off...

Its red underneath but level now..

Its a bit wrinkly looking, i mean the skin has a few wrinkles, but im guessing they will go as the collegn tightens over the next weeks...

Its still red and a bit shiny, but i can deal with that

i bought the infadolan, the single needles (super sharp and amazing !!), and the suction tool. came out to about $35USD. i just used them last weekend, see some good results, using the suction tool 10 times throughout the day. i also just ordered collagen pills. hope it helps. ive spent way to much money on my scars lol
