Hi guys, I'm new to the forums here.

I've had acne since I was 18 when I first went to college, I am 20 now and I still get breakouts here and there.

The problem isn't the acne itself, well maybe a bit because of the scarring it causes.

The problem are these scars that haven't gone away.

I had fraxel (restore I believe) January 10th, and it is now February 4th and I still haven't seen results.....

I have a bit of back acne as well that comes and goes, but there are scars on my back, and I have a bit of acne on my chest that's still bright red.

The acne scars on my face are what bothers me.

I do not want to go on Accutane because 6 months is too long and then another 6 months post accutane in order to get scar treatments.

I'd rather just do scar treatments and control my acne.

I need advice, these scars are so annoying, I miss having perfect skin, what should I do????

Should I go with Fraxel Repair? Or should I try a new approach?

Btw, these are pics of my acne scars:

Your photos are so grainy, it's hard to tell whether the scars are mere hyperpigmentations or craters. If former, they'll gradually go away in time; if latter, they're here to stay (unless you opt to get them removed surgically).

But, man, don't confuse blotches like hyperpigmentation with them indelible scars like pits or craters. Seriously!

you can try the dermaroller. I plan on using it once my breakout clears up.
