Hi all,

i am 28 this year and had roaccutane about 6-7 years ago. I had done a acne scar treatment before with a dermatologist that involves using a machine. I would like to confirm this treatment. The doc was saying that it was CO2 laser resurfacing.

Using the machine, the doc continuously uses the machine and pricks into my skin. It will leave a stinging feeling and everytime it felt like a needle prickling into my skin. She was using a foot pedal at the same time. She will continuously do this for many times as I had acne scars on my forehead and cheeks area, as well as neck area. Once it was done, my skin was covered with small little red dots of redness.

Was given a facial mask and some cream to cool after treatment.

The recovery took about 1.5 to 2 weeks. There was peeling of skins.

Can I confirm this to be CO2 laser resurfacing?

This boggles my mind. You had an intensive treatment that most likely cost you big bucks yet you don't know what you paid for...?

@Robert, the doc told me it was CO2 laser.

@acnescar123, there was no blood though. Will microneedling cause the skin to bleed?

Rgds
