Going to get it done shortly, but I don't want to waste time. I know both are similar and have their merits, but I have heard arguments that dermastamp is better, and some people said dermaroller is better. I have no idea to tell for sure,
I am also reading that it is a good idea to use both (1.5mm dermaroller + 1.5mm to 2.0mm dermastamp (12 or 35 needles):

I am strongly considering both at the same time, as long as it isn't crazily expensive.
I mostly have boxcars (cheek) and ice picks (temples) to deal with:
[Edited link out]
I get both done at the same time. 2.0mm derma stamp on my scars and 1.5mm Dermaroller all over. It's all part of one package for me. I've had mixed results. Still great for overall skin health though.
Yep, I am considering both. Only question is could dermaroller in general be not worth it or too unsafe in general? I doubt it but there is too much conflicting rubbish out there.
I am also aiming for 2.0 e-dermastamp, and 1.5 dermaroller. The place I am planning to go to uses 1.5mm dermaroller and the e-dermastamp from 1.0-2.0. I am thinking of 2.0 stamp on cheeks, 1.0 on forehead+temples, and 1.5 roller (either all over or just on cheeks and maybe temples but not forehead).
>I am assuming they also use 12 needles, do you think 12 or 35 is better? I hear less needles = better.
>how many sessions (of roller+stamp) did you have and are you planning to have? I was planning on 6-7 of the 1.5mm roller, so hopefully under 6 for stamp+roller for me
>what are you paying?
I've had four treatments so far; one more to go.
The Dermaroller is safe. No doubt about it. Whether to have it done depends on how widespread your scars are I guess. I have isolated scarring but since I'm in my late thirties, I thought it would be good to get an overall treatment to fight aging too.
In terms of needles, I suppose 12 is better since you can target the scars better.

My scars are posted in the original post, they aren't too deep (according to most experts I have seen), but they are noticeably red/inflamed/pih/hyperpigmented and widespread.
Decided to get both in the same sitting, about 4-6 treatments in total. That should take me to the end of 2014.
I am getting 1.5mm rolling on the face, and 1.0mm - 2.0mm e-stamping on forehead/temples (1.0) and cheeks (2.0).
I will also use retin-a after healing from these treatments.
I think this is the only treatment out there that that could help me at this point, I want to do fraxel repair but can't.
