I have only heard of people using subcision for rolling scars. I think ice picks are typically treated with punch techniques or excision.
If you were to try the TCA CROSS again I think I'd try a lower strength. Possibly 50%. I'd also be extra careful about making sure the TCA does not touch any healthy tissue at all. I'd also experiment a bit with applying the TCA (maybe with an even lower strength like 30%). For example, twirl the toothpick around in the scar or just gently tap the TCA onto the scar. If none of those things work then I'd probably move onto a different scar treatment.
I've found that I can perform a TCA Cross at 100% solution with virtually any degree of intensity and still get incredible results. Perhaps my skin is just extremely resilient, but to me the chemical just isn't nearly as volatile as it may seem. Sorry to hear about your results though, I know that can be disappointing
man i can tell im gonna have to wait months for a appointment in boston which probably has the best derm since its a huge city in ma
okay what kind of lasers will help mild ice pick scars ? or what treatments besides tca cross do you cause recommend ? also heard punch techniques may improve them ? i need some knowledge

This is all I've read about lasers being helpful for icepick scars.
im most likely gonna go for fraxel restore but well see when i go for a consultation
Have you read about this helping ice picks?
yes but everyones results are unpredictable ya know ? just gonna have to talk and see whatsup
as long as theres a 30-50% improvement im happy
Thanks. I agree about it being unpredictable. I have not yet started to treat my ice pick scars, but when I do I'll have to keep the fraxel restore in mind.
I've been doing a lot of research lately and I have yet to come across any compelling evidence in favor of non-ablative lasers (I.e Fraxel Restore) for ice pick scarring. Think you might need some punch excisions, then resurfacing to smooth out the texture.
Not sure where your 'free' consultation is but be smart. The industry preys on people. I've been to many consultations and have been fed all kinds of BS.
