Hey all,

I've mostly controlled my mild acne. I don't break out much anymore and if I do, it's minimal. However, I am left with some red marks that I'm not sure how to go about treating. I have a few red marks that are slightly shallow so are they indented or are they still healing if they are still red? I also struggle with letting them heal on their own and with natural products or chemical. l'm so pale they stick out like a sore thumb. I have tretinoin but I don't feel like using it for months and months before I see results and my aha lotion I have seems to make them a little more irritated. Any advice as to how to treat them?

Stick with your tretinion, kid. It has been backed up with years and years of research and clinical tests, and it has been doing me real good ever since I started using it. Use mild non-comedogenic makeup if you are really concerned about the redness, but a few years down the line you'll find it more worthwhile than any other quick fixes because it maintains the results. I only regret not starting earlier and I'm left with scarring that needed cosmetic treatment.
