Here is one side of my face. This scar seems to have gotten deeper as the years went by. Probably due to my age.

I have been wanting to get my scars foxed for year but I never have. I guess it's because I am afraid nothing will work.

Is there hope for me?Can anyone recommend what type of work I can have done? Can anyone suggest a doctor? thanks

What procedures should I get? I want something that will help my skin look good again not gimmicks.

Sorry it's side ways.

I am not an expert, but just wait a few more hours you'll get some replies. by the way, your skin doesn't look BAD IMO.

What you have are rolling scars. Subscision is something you might want to look into to give you a start. This is where they make a small surgical incision and break up the scar tissue that is anchoring the flesh down.

Enerjet is a relatively new procedure which kind of uses the same concept but is not available to certain parts of the world yet. Not sure about this one yet but there seems to be good reviews about this.

Thank you. Is there any risks to Subscision? Are there any horror stories? I am 53 and my collagen is not as strong as a young persons. I guess an experienced doctor who know the risks.

Wow, things seemed to have died down here. It used to be much more active in this forum.

There's minimal risk to this other than the general risks of surgery. The down time for this procedure is bruising. Haven't heard of any bad horror stories other than the temporary bruising.

Thanks everyone. I am unemployed but I can't stand these scars anymore. And I am sure my self consciousness is showing up during interviews. I think it's time to do something about it once and for all.
