my main issue seems to be cysts resulting from excess androgen,
which appears to be stabilizing from a regimen i'm on,
but changes in diet (for recent ex: trying raw dairy, starting probiotics)
tend to cause breakouts of small bumps, mainly on forehead.
has anyone experience pitted scars from non-cystic acne?
sorry if that's a dumb question; i just wouldn't want these small changes to create even more indented marks.
I think most pitted scars are associated with more deep acne like cystic and those that do not come to a head. I suffer with whiteheads which don't tend to scar, they just dry up and go away.
I used to get under the skin acne and I have a few pitted scars from those. So I would say that acne that is under the epidermis results more in scarring than other forms of acne.
