Does Tca Cross Work On Everyone?

I had a failed test spot done with 100% tca on an ice pick scar (scar became deeper) by a derm. I noticed that the scar didnt frost at all and that he poked the scar very hard. Is it more the case that tca cross sometimes make scars worse because of a combination of improper technique and perhaps too high of a tca %, or more that some people just have horrible skin healing properties?

No one treatment works for everyone. Generally speaking tca cross works but as with everything there are risks. If you want to hear a tca cross horror story, then read "*inspired*" threads on here where she is currently trying to fix the damage tca cross did to her.

Maybe 100% tca caused her skin to scar. It's possible that some people's skin have a lower threshold of tca tolerance and >a certain % will cause them to scar. I'm going to try 50% tca cross on a scar and see if it reacts the same way.
