He seems like a decent doc and probably knows how to treat asian skin types. However he only has the less powerful fraxel restore type laser, so your results won't be that great unless your scarring is mild.

Edit : I re-read your old posts. Seems like your main concern is redness and not actual scarring - so he should be fine for that (IPL laser).

I'm actually looking into their laser resurfacing machine for scarring as well as pigmentation. The right side of my face is full of scars and is very uneven. I heard it's less powerful but it is also more affordable. Hmm... has anyone tried the palomar lux 1540?
