Simple aspirin masks. aspirin mixed with virgin olive oil. Place a couple of non coated aspirins on plate pour a few drops of water onto the tablets. leave them alone for an hour or so, come back and use a toothpick to break them up. mix a tiny amount of virgin olive oil into the aspirin powder to make a paste. apply it to your face and leave it on there for 35 minutes to an hour. Do this once a week.
Use apple cider vinegar mixed 50/50 with distilled water. Use a clean paper towel and wipe your face with it after taking a shower. Wash face with regular water if doing this before going out. If you do this before going to bed, wipe the mix on your face and let it dry.
Wash your pillowcases every week.
Stop washing your face several times a day. You should only wash it after you wake up, after you've worked out or sweated a lot, and before you go to bed. Try using cold water showers when washing your face- wash your face last- after you've washed your whole body and your hair. Use Irish Spring soap instead of body wash.
Try applying virgin press coconut oil to a test area on your face as a lotion. Do it in an acne prone area. Only apply a tiny amount, too much and your face will look greasy. See it if clears up the acne in that area. Apply with clean fingers right after you shower. do this for a few weeks. if it doesn't increase the break outs. You way want to use it as a daily moisturizer to prevent acne. Yeah I know how that sounds. Oil stops acne and black heads. In some people it does. It prevents shedding skin from getting trapped in pores, and coconut oil is antibacterial, not only that it improves scars over time.
Less is better! Don't get crazy with tons of different treatments. If your breakouts are due to oily skin, you need to balance your oil. Using products that dry your skin out will make it worse by
taking away extra oil, there fore making your skin produce more oil. Get what I'm saying? I know from experience with my own skin the Pre Cleanse by Dermalogica is great for balancing oil. It removes it, but also moisturizes. Pre Cleanse can be used as many times a day as you'd like because its so gentle. I recommend in the am and at night before bed..Everyday! Find a local salon/spa that sells it...don't buy it online! Start with, this and slowly add in a cleanser and moisturizer. Get a facial at a spa that uses Dermalogica and talk to the esthetician about it
Really great brand! I use it and I'm also an esthetician! :)Please try it!
