Not sure what you're exactly experiencing but my guess is that uneven micro-swelling is making the scarring look deeper than before. I am willing to bet with time that your face returns to normal.

i had same result after fraxel worst scaring and deeper scars that ive never seen before appared also lines like stretch mark lines i dunno how to describe them but

kinda like those apparing on my cheek, and alot of icepick scars i never had before also .

It will get better in time. I am in my second week of recovering from a fraxel treatment and I have quite a bit of redness too, but the clinician tells me this is perfectly normal, it may last for a month or so, but is part of the healing process and will get better.
