Lighting looks brighter to me in the second picture which can fade out scars. Also looks like she's caked in makeup in the second picture. Also, the facial expression is different between the two pictures. The wider smile will also make scars disappear. There are definitely results but I don't think the pictures are 100% truthful here.

Well, makeup actually makes indents look WORSE, I always have to choose between covering up my redness and accentuating my pitting or skipping the make up so the pitting is less noticable but then the redness isn't more noticeble.

So I don't think it's make up.

Has anyone been to this doctor?

There's gotta be someone on here........Chicago's a huge area.

I was told by a dermatologist that a guy named Matthew kelleher (in naperville) was very good. So I went in to see him two weeks ago and said he could give me 40-60% improvement--but only if I first go to a shrink for his perception that I have bdd. This guy has been treating scars for 20 years apparently.

I went to Dr. Anil Shah last year (got a nose job with him in 2010) and he told me straight up that he does maybe 1 or 2 treatments a month and couldn't guarantee anything.

Chicagoan from the burbs. haven't treated my scars yet.
