Hey, I recently made an account for this site, but I'd always been reading forums and stuff from it beforehand. About 8 months ago I had a huge outbreak of cystic acne and didn't get it cured in time, so I'm left with some scars and enlarged pores. There are barely any, but they're still pretty noticeable (to me, anyway), and it only happened on one cheek. Here's a picture (I still have a little bit of acne left):
My question is whether or not they will go away with time. I know piercing holes shrink after a few years, and I've had scars that weren't on my face grow out to be level with my skin, so is it the same with acne scars?
If not, how can I get rid of them? Thanks in advance,

i think exfoliating the skin on a weekly basis could help.
i have a bit of pitted scars, but not enough to make me worry.
i am more concerned with the red scarring
and ive been applying a mask to my face every couple of days
consisting of: yogurt, lemon and cinnamon...
ive noticed that my skin is overall a lot smoother.

I have the same problem! I have a lot of marks on my face but theyre flat ( like I dont feel it when i run my finger over it). I updated my auto ship kit and added aha. ive yet to try it though. someone please enlighten us!
That's just hyperpigmentation, not real scars. They will definitely go away with time, but you can really easily get rid of them quickly with a light chemical peel or something else that renews your skin. I, on the other hand, have physical dips in my face, so I don't know how to deal with those.

Don't do a chemical peel until you get rid of all your acne.
