there are a few noticable patches where i have had a more severe lesion/etc and hair has ceased to grow in the area.

are there any treatments for this? or might hair-growth resume in time.

i'm guessing it won't, but can't hurt to ask.

I had cystic acne for 13 years before I went on accutane 24 years ago. Some of the areas with the highest inflamation no longer produce hair so my beard in some areas is splotchy. I guess the answer is that it probably will not come back.

red led therapy might help, but I'm just taking a guess.

Scars do not have pores/hair follicles.

Have you ever see someone who had a scar on their eyebrow, and the hair was missing? Scar tissue is different in that way.
