Ive been struggling with acne scars for 10 years, and Im now 23 years old. So far, Ive had 6 sessions of CO2 fractional laser, 12 sessions of microneedling (Dermapen), and 1 session of subcision combined with abrasion.

 

  • People often point out my skin, so Im already quite aware of how it looks. But Id really appreciate honest and constructive feedback from others who understand acne scars.

 

Im wondering if I should continue with more subcision sessions, or if there might be other treatments that would be more effective in my case.

What exactly is subcision combined with abrasion? Dermabrasion?

I have heard of subcision combined with suction (and it makes good sense to me to combine them) but have not heard of subcision with abrasion.

Your skin may need time between intensive treatments to heal and show full results, treatments like CO2 laser continue improving for 6-12 months.
