So Im still trying to find a moisturiser as good as the acne org old moisturiser. I need a non comedogenic moisturiser that doesnt have niacinamide. Its so hard! Can anyone with more knowledge than myself tell me if Q+A hylauronic acid moisturiser is non comedogenic? Here are the ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Polyglutamic Acid, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Rice Bran Extract, Sucrose Stearate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Tocopherol, Propanediol, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Coco-Glucoside, Coconut Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Citric Acid.

Those ingredients look acceptable. I don't see any red flags.

Thank you so much for your reply Dan I really appreciate it. I will continue to use the Q+A moisturiser. Im still using your cleanser and BP. I will go back to your moisturiser if you take the niacinamide out 🙂

I doubt I'll take the niacinamide out because I like it so much. Over time it really helps calm the skin down and there's so much robust science behind it. But I listen to every person's comments so it's duly noted.

@dan The old moisturizer without niacinamide never caused me breakouts, but unfortunately the new one has. How long should I be waiting until trying an alternative moisturizer? As a loyal user of your products, I gave it a chance and I have now been using it for 5 months. I would assume as my skin is unfortunately still experiencing breakouts, these would no longer be attributed to purging from the new formula. Would you recommend looking into alternatives now?

@marronn2 Has the Q+A moisturizer been working well for you? Also looking for a new moisturizer now that the formula has changed.

Hi there

Yes Im finding the Q+A hyaluronic acid daily moisturiser excellent. Dan checked the ingredients and said there was nothing in it to cause concern. You can paste the ingredients into the online checker and they look good. Ive been using it for 8 months and I find it great. Its quite thick so you dont need as much and does not contain niacinamide. Im still using acne org cleanser and BP and will revert to the acne org moisturiser if it returns to the original formula.
