Hi everyone, hope someone can help me with my acne problems. Actually i dont have the worst case of acne. Its just that, its hard to cure my pimples around my chin and near my ear. its sound weird right? and my face tends to become oily especially when im wearing make-up. I use pond's facial wash and pond's toner, but i think its not working for me. Hope you can advise me a cheap product here in the philippines..

Hey,

I feel your pain. Don't let acne make you depressed. Believe me I've been there, stressing out over it just makes it worse and worse.

To control my acne I use a cleaner and an acne product. Use the cleaner first - Cetaphyl (if you guys have it) and see if it works. The exact one I use the the bar in the blue box.

Hi, I'm from Davao, i tried using PanOxyl 2.5 Acnegel and it worked for me kaso lang wala nang nagbebenta ng Panoxyl dito sa Davao sad.png kaya di ako naka-continue... I was considering benzac ac (2.5 ginagamit mo?). would you consider shipping it here in Davao? hehe, how much? thanks :-)

nice may pinoy thread pala dito! matagal na ko member dito pero minsan na minsan na lang ako maka visit so eto guys share ko lang yung experienced ko about the regimen for 2 years and 1 month na.. non stop! hehe

hello guys! It's been a long time since I visit the site. I just want to share my experience with the regimen since I started it two years ago.

So far, so good. I use BP twice a day in the morning and night (2.5%-panoxyl) unfortunately last month I cannot find my BP of 2.5% anywhere so I switched to another brand and a much higher (5%-benzac) luckily It doesn't affect anything on my face. One time I decided to use BP only at night for one week because I noticed that my face is kinda red but unfortunately I got breakout so I continue to use it as usual (twice a day) and everything goes well again. For my face wash i use acne aid bar soap by steiffel and celeteque facial moisturizer (water-based) I drink a lot of water as much as possible, I eat healthy foods as much as I could because sometimes when I eat too much sweets like chocolates, oily and fryed foods especially chicken I get breakouts, also take vitamins, mine I only take multivitamins stresstab and vitamin c. I also having a breakout if I use liquid type of make up, so as much as possible when I don't have work I do not use make up. Stress and staying up late is a big factor for having a breakout too, so make sure you get adequate sleep.

Just this year I got terrible eczema and then I went to a dermatologist and she prescribed me with wash and lotion that contain colloidal oatmeal. Now my skin is doing well and smooth. I only use it to my body and I noticed that my body acne is clearing up as well so I decided to give it a try to my face tonight.

Today I cannot say that my skin is so smooth but I love it now compare two years ago that was depressing and terrible. My skin is clear now but sometimes I got small pimples but I can say that I am happy with my face now that I can go outside without wearing make up and still feeling confident with my face.

Once again, thank you DAN!

hey guys......

i've been following this thread for a while now

http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/316478-green-teasea-salt-toner-effective-and-easy-to-make/page__st__340

and since all the green tea that i've seen are expensive i tried switching to bitter gourd (AMPALAYA)..... after like a month of that t'was ok, and researched like crazy about Ampalaya for acne, what i found was an even better one...

drum rolls please...... Moringa Oleifera or MALUNGGAY!!!!!!!

i've switched from using bitter gourd tea to the Moringa oleifera plant (since we have like three trees of it in our garden)...

has a lot of antioxidants and vitamins and really good for you......

i just brew the fresh leaves, then i add a little salt, vit c , and clindamycin and that's basically my toner which i use 2x a day.

i also try to cleanse with with the brewed tea at least 3-4x a week.

it's been soo helpful..... and i don't have to pay for it!!! i just pluck out leaves from our garden whenever i need it.....

hope you guys are all doing great!

i'm using Benzac W 5% and I don't have break outs. But the problem is that the marks are not lightening up. So, I still have my scars. <!--emo&:(--><img src='style_emoticons/default/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Im using benzac now... Wala talaga na lighten ang scars mo? I was hoping it will

...soooo guys advice naman...

everytime i come for a consult sa derm ko, he insists on doing a facial and chemical peel.... i mean ok lang ung facial but ung procedure bago ung chemical peel is extraction+injection......and it damn well hurt.. .a lot of poking and prodding my zitface...just a couple of weeks back i did that....i'm okay at the moment....

i'm just thinking about that a lot recently, i'm concerned all the poking would add scars... and i really want to stop it come january when i go back to my derm........just consults na lang......

NO MORE INVASIVE STUFF!!!!! i'm really opting for that

please please....i need your insights!

no actually...... my face can't take BP anymore.... learned that when i tried proactiv.....it worked 1st month then the months after that, went crashing down for me.....

right now i am on accutane, and i'm just using my own concocted malunggay+clindamycin toner (derived firom onefatalgoose's green tea toner) and a cetaphil lotion for moisturizing..... it's okay sooo far and i'm LOVING Malunggay..... i want to stray away from a lot of chemicals as much as i can coz i've noticed significant changes in my skin when i started using my own regimen....

now i'm scouring the internet in search of a better, organic moisturizer.... looking where i can find me some PURE ALOE VERA moisturizer...... or maybe i could just plant the Aloe Vera myself and use it!

Diba ang specialty nang forever living products ay mga aloe vera? Baka meron silang nga toner..

I tried proactive din and it didnt work for me.. But gusto ko din mag try nang acne.org na regimen... So far okay naman din... Have u tried the vinegar toner? Na lighten ang scars ko! Heeheh

tried that too........ didn't work for me though...it was too strong for my skin...also fresh calamansi...... so now i just stick with malunggay...

i know that forever living products specializes in aloe vera stuff, but i really want an organic aloe vera product..... may mga comedogenic ingredients pa din ang formulation ng FL eh......
