I only have mild acne on my chin area and was wondering if it would work the same if I just bought their drugstore alternative recommendations or if I should just buy their regimen? If I did decide either way to go with their drug store regimen recommendations which products as far as cleanser and lotion would be the next best thing to the acne.org regimen?

If you decide to buy drugstore products instead, make sure they are to the specification of The Regimen. I got clear using drugstore products using my Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturizer, plus my Benzac 2.5% BP. The use of these three products managed to clear my skin very well but in the long run found my BP was expensive for the size so that is where I switched to Acne.org BP.

Drugstore products are fine. Before Dan started making his own even he was using them. The key is BP and his is by far and away the best bang for your buck. When it comes to cleansers and moisturizers, 99% of the time you'll find something that's works fine for you. I can get away with almost any cleanser but I've been using BP for over 15 years and my skin isn't too fussy. I also use Simple Light Hydrating Moisturizer which is cheap where I live and the best moisturizer I've ever found.

Absolutely!!! Dan's BP is a great value compared to those teeny tubes of Neutrogena On-The-Spot!

I just searched that moisturizer: it seems great. Where do you live? I don't think it's in my area.

I remember when I first bought one of those tubes for like 8 dollars at a drug store. When I got the acne.org tube I thought that I ordered like a year's supply or something! Plus Dan's BP feels so much better on the skin compared to the Neutrogena brand.
