To make a long story short, I used DKR a couple of years ago but I think I gave up on it too quickly. Somehow, I found that ProActiv worked but for only about a year and a half. I'm a 25 year old male with moderate acne. I decided to try DKR for the long haul this time but I was wondering if Origin's Brighter by Nature SPF 35 is a good sunscreen to use while on DKR. Also, at what point should I use Dan's AHA lotion? I've been on the regimen for two weeks. Thanks.
I have no experience with the brand you speak of, but it may help to see Dan's list of ingredients that should be avoided while using DKR. http://www.acne.org/supplies-guide.inc.html If the moisturizer you plan to use lists any of these ingredients, then you shouldn't bother purchasing it. As far as using AHA, you should wait until you are at least 6 weeks into the regimen before incorporating AHA. Please remember to start off slowly, like you did with BP, then you may progress further. Hope this helps and keep us up to date on your progress...
