The gel is so much easier to put on. Personally, it helped with my dryness somehow. I ordered Dan's treatment because I couldn't find it either. If you but neutrogena on the spot it's like $6 for a .75 oz tube (or something like that) and I paid $20 (with shipping) for dan's 8 oz tube. I've used half a tube and its last me like a month and a half. It just makes more sense to buy dan's!
