So all my life I've had pretty mild/moderate acne. Usually gets worst when it's "that time of the month" I am 23 years old, and have been breaking out since i was 16. It got worse when i turned 18. I've been taking birth control pills for about 2 years to control my acne. That worked fairly well. I stopped taking birth control and all hell broke loose. I started to get the worst breakouts ever. Tried to fix it with cleansers but it did absolutely nothing. I go back on birth control but it doesn't even work anymore.

Then I go on a trip to South Korea and my acne gets even WORSE! Not sure if it's the weather, or the water but I haven't looked this bad ever. What's worse is Korean people can be very judgmental and meddle into your business. Strangers come up to me and ask me what's wrong with my face. It just stresses me out so much. All my relatives have to comment about it too. I'm just so embarrassed to even show my own family my face without makeup. It sucks! I have so many acne marks along with it too. I'm just tired of ALWAYS needing to put makeup on everywhere I go, and I mean everywhere. I know this sounds so insecure but people who don't have acne don't understand. I can't even go to the grocery store without having some makeup on :/ Forgot to mention my face is oily as a grease pan. So I'm always waking up with some puss filled pimples.

Anyway, I had to seriously do something about my ongoing acne, so I decided to go to the dermatologist in Korea. He recommended that I take oral medications, and told me the side effects. Automatically I assumed he was talking about Accutane. I was hesitant about it because of all the horror stories i've heard. Though, I just trusted his words and started taking it. He prescribed me 10mg Isotretinoin twice a day for a month, and more if needed. I was pretty surprised how easily it was to obtain it. Considering how much of a hassle it is to get it in the States. I will make a daily log on this. I'm just getting very apprehensive about the IB. I've been reading many reviews and it scares me. I already have several active pimples and getting more will make me even more depressed.

I'm actually on day 3 and see no difference except the fact that my lips are a tad bit dry. Decided to take the 10mg once a day instead of twice. Hoping I don't have that much of a IB. PLEASEEE.
