I'm a 34 year old woman with hormonal cycstic acne And closed and open comedones. Been suffering since I was 14.

Tried all known otc and prescribtion meds known to man. My last resort was accutane.

I read here about tazorac and thought i give it one last try before going the accutane road. I would live to avoid it as I'm scared of the side effects especially the joint muscle pains that i read can continue even after stopping it.

I'm studying to be a fitness in lnstructor and something like this can stop my career short.

So anyways. Heres a pic of me 4 weeks in. The purge was horrible but honestly not that bad as my acne would flare up sometimes almost as bad as this.

The areas on my face where I'm not usually affected are turning very smooth and glowing.
