I started this just to log my own progress because in the past i have used products which have cleared up my skin, yet i change products very often to experiment and have forgotten the specific details. I have been the the dermatologist and was prescribed: Eryacne, differin, and minocyclin for 6 months. I have mild acne.

Morning: Effaclar cleanser + Eryacne

Evening: Effaclar cleanser + Differin

Morning: Repeat

Evening: Effaclar cleanser + Moisturiser

REPEAT

Week 2

- Spots on chin have faded slightly

- red marks on cheeks seem to have increased which is odd

- Stopped using sal acid due to redness

- Basically stopped using eryacne just to test and see if it is the cause of excessive oilneeness

May 24

- still not using eryacne which seems to have reduced oiliness but may be due to cooler temperature atm

- skin still gets oily just not as much by the end of the day

- trying out baking soda mask once or twice a week to see if helps

- not many pimples

- beginning to use first regimen again but will switch to oil controling cleanser after empty Effaclar

June 8: using the proper regimen again

- oil controling cleanser feels much better for oil

- exfoliating with baking soda and using aloe vera once a week helps

- skin looks much better after awhile getting used to products again

June 25

- stopped miniomycin for 1 day and broke out along chin

- oiliness seems to have reduced but may be due to the cold weather
