So I've been a lurker on this forum for a few years every now and then, as having acne you sometimes feel alone and want to see that there are others just like yourself.

I've had mild acne for about 5 years, starting in grade 11. It was at its peak in grade 12, all on my forehead with massive cysts. Clindomycin cleaned that up for me, but it started to spread all over my face after that (just 4-5 pimples every now and then, sometimes a massive cyst would form every 2-3 months).

I tried a bunch of over the counter stuff, but nothing really did the trick for me.

That's when I went to the doc who prescribed Epiduo to me. This stuff was amazing. I applied a pea sized amount, and it covered all of my face. I bought a moisturizer and some chapstick to help out with the drying.

I started it on Sept 20th 2013, so I guess it's been a month and a couple weeks or so. My acne has calmed down, although I still have a couple of pimples and 4-5 scars which are starting to fade (phew!).

I just wanted to make a post and share my story! I'll update this thread every week just to track progression.

Approaching 7 weeks now, just got a pimple over my lip.... rest is just very small ones or scars.

Making progress!

Approaching week 9 now, I would consider my face clear compared to what I used to be back at week 0. Got a few small pimples, but I don't mind those as much as the fat cysts I used to get.

Speak of the *ing Devil, and the Devil will answer. I just got a cyst between my eyebrows, and a couple other smaller pimples on my cheeks.

Ahhhh I *ing hate cysts.

Face is still a lot clearer than when I started, but just some annoyances!

I think I'm going to up the dose a tiny bit as I've been pretty conservative on applying these last 9 weeks.

PS. If you guys are following my progress please comment so I can continue! I just want to help give those considering epiduo an idea of what I'm going through.
