I first started having these breakouts/reactions when I first began using the products I was prescribed such as tretinoin and clindamycin . I am now using adapalene and clindamycin and still expericing the same symptoms. I rarely have the typical acne symptoms. It is now mostly redness, dryness, itchiness, and I believe blisters or pustules that form on these areas, burst when I touch or apply medication, and form an irritating orange/yellow crust. I am not sure if it is eczema or Rosacea. The way I treat it is by only using a moisturizer in my skincare routine, eliminating every other product I normally use until further notice. I just visited my dermatologist who prescribed me metronidazole for the treatment of rosacea and impetigo. Not that I don't trust my doctor, but is this rosacea or even a yeast infection?

I'm a little stumped. You got it when you started using a retinoid (tretinoin) and clindamycin? And you're still using a retinoid (adapalene) and clindamycin? I don't get it. Why does your doc want you to keep using something that gave you a reaction?

Not sure exactly what it is either.
