Are the areas itchy and/or painful ? Have you taken antibiotics or been in hospital ? Is the condition spreading ? Do you have dandruff or a white tongue ? Have you used moisturisers or organic oils on your face ?

The condition might be caused by fungus. If so, it is treatable with a topical antifungal cream - which is safe and cheap.
