Hey everyone, so I've had this redness under my nostrils since at least the 5th grade and have never known what it is/why it is. I'm about to turn 18 years old and wash my face once a day with Neutrogena Deep Clean, and use Burt's Bees daily moisturizing lotion afterwards. I've tried a lot of things and none of them have worked, so I think i need some help figuring out what's going on here in the first place.

I used to always get red cheeks. I still get it from time to time but my new regime has helped to make these occasions rare.
Drink green tea
Use PureChimp Super Cleanser
I also kept a diary to see what triggered my skin redness & then tried to avoid these things. (I know its a pain but once you have done it you may find a way to reduce redness in your skin for the rest of your life).
Sugar way a big trigger for me personally.
