Perhaps the Benzoyl Peroxide has sensitized your skin so much over the past couple of months

that the particular formulation of spf irritates it? Have you used other brands since?

And I like Aloe Vera gel and CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for calming redness.

It's a god-send for my flare-ups.

I had this issue too. Whenever I used BP under sunscreen, I would just look like a red mess. I have considerably cut down on my redness by only applying BP at night. Now I try to keep BP and sunscreen separate.

I guess it irritates your skin. Have you tried another brand? It is safe to ask guidance from a dermatologist though.
