The biochemist who help create this drug is the doctor I am working with and he was the one who suggested this after testing my growth hormone level. Nothing is being done rashly and to imply that it is is offensive and ignorant at best. As for the treatment harming me, that is why we are doing the test to see if there is a deficiency, if there isn't then I will not have the treatment. JT, sorry to take so long to get back to you buddy, but yesterday a saw my doc again and I asked him about the joint pain and he said that it was do to inflammation from an autoimmune disease, so Lamarr was right about that. My doc would use homeopathic meds to help you but I am sure an prescription anti-inflammatory would do the job. I am in Jersey and if your not too far away you should make the trip up here during the summer and see him.

After about two weeks i knew it was helping alot. After a month i was almost not flushing atall. But i was taking clonidine, propranolol and mirtazapine with this. I still take the propranolol because it is so good for keeping stress levels and such to a minimum. I still take the mirtazapine for sleep quality aswell. My gradad is a Dr of over 50 years and says that everyone would benefit from propranolol lol.
Well my next micro is 4 weeks away.usually there supposed to be 1-2 weeks but she recommended 4 I guess Its because I have sensitive skin
Place was real professional..gave me a chart of my skin on whats on it..

I had one pimple on like the side of my hairline and after we were done she cleaned it up because it opened
went home and it was huge lol but gone but my advice is you cant get micro with active acne in my opinion

Thanks for asking your doctor man. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately I live in Seattle, Washington so i'm not very close to NJ =). I will look into homeopathic drugs though.

Have you gotten any heart problems from any of the drugs you have taken while trying to combat the flushing (current and in the past)? My doctor put me on clarinex last summer and after one pill I got heart palpitations for like a month and my heart still isn't really the same.

JT, I kinda figured where you lived because of the name lol, but bro I am really all about homeopathy, it has been a long road for all of us and if lamarr's regiment works that's great I'm glad somebody is getting relief and I will probably end up taking that stuff if all of this does not pan out. I just want to make sure that I have exhausted all available options before taking more meds. That's why as I said before I think you should still get your growth hormone tested even if it is a shot in the dark it's just giving blood and accutane does damage the pituitary and sometimes the damage is so slight that our IGF-1 level can still be high or normal so I say give it a go when you can man and see whats up.

Went to a different grocery pharamacy because the women who I talked to on the phone was across town..
Now this female was totally different..first she thought it was a cream for lupus lol then I told her its a pill..and she said she does not know what it is..and I was like cant you look it up on the computer and she was like O well i guess I can..
I needed a dosage so she can send it to my doctor so he can send back a proper prescription..She said it would take time..because she could not find it right now
I looked it up online and within 1 minute I found its 100 miligrams for lupus
I called her and told her and her voice was grumpy as if I was trying to make her sound stupid and then she said WELL I STILL HAVE TO LOOK IT UP

Yo halfpipe, while you are waiting for your mepacrine to get concocted, get your growth hormone level checked, I have suggested you do this a several times, but you always seem to ignore this portion of my posts. If you have a reason for not getting it checked then humor me and let me know what that is otherwise please get it checked we may be able to uncover the cause of this issue. It is a simple test just go to an endocrinologist and ask for a complete workup including your GH level, give some blood and boom we have possibly solved this thing all together.

I believe some of us coul well have low growth hormone levels. I continually workout though so i doubt mine are low. Weight lifting stimulates Growth hormone production. I know that some people who have erectile disfunction may well have low growth hormone levels.
I don't know how low GH would be addressed, can you simply get gh injections? presumably it would be a life long thing?

GH injections are used to stimulate pituitary function they are not a life long treatment rather they are administered over a period of about three or fours months. As you probably know the pituitary controls all of the functions of our bodies including the immune and neurological system, it has also been reported that accutane can severely dehydrate the pituitary thus causing abnormal functionality of the rest of our systems, my flushing peeks during stress and anxiety and sexual activity, I also feel as though I am overheating almost like my neurological system has been altered, if it is not directly neurological it can only be auto-immune or endocrine. Lamarr I know your all good on all these drugs but you should get it checked just to see what's up. Lamarr, again you seem like a smart dude and I think if you talked more about this with me you would become curious about it at least enough to get it checked cause it is soo easy to get it done. You dont need your blood tested to know if your low on growth hormone. I took accutane as a teen and young adult. If it affected my growth hormone I would not have grown to 6 foot 4 and I wouldnt have such good boners in my life.
If you have an autp immune problem and you take HGH (human growth hormone) you will worsen the problem. HGH stimulates your immune system and will exacerbate any auto immune problem you have. In fact it could kill you. Very few people can get prescriptions for HGH the stuff is extremely expensive.
You guys sound like a bunch of amateur scientists trying to figure this stuff out. I admire your tenacity but you sound like the keystone cops. Be careful or you'll kill yourself.
Thunderbay, I got my info from my doctor I didnt pull it out of my ass and everything you have just said is complete bullshit, GH controls more than your height it controls all the functions of your body so you can be at normal height and still have a growth hormone problem and people who have auto-immune problem have low growth hormone and as far as growth hormone killing you that is absurd, because before you can get GH you are given a arginine infusion test to detect pituitary problems no one just receives GH without testing, I don't care how old you are you are clearly a moron, we are trying to solve this issue rather than laying down like a bitch and doing nothing for ten fuckin years. Get off this blog bro your not helping your blind accusations are incorrect and your claims have no scientific basis. All of the information I have talked about is from what my doctor has told me. Interesting I just called one office,she said I have to get my doctor to call to get an appointment.
How would this stop my flushing though?..
And I have a doctors appointment anyways tommorow to get my mepacrine..since the medical clinic doctors were confused about it..

Halfpipe if we have a GHD that is causing this an endocrinologist would give us an arginine infusion test which I am trying to get now, if that shows that my pituitary is damaged I will be given growth hormone which I would take for about two months after which I would be completely cured of this entire issue. Just get your GH level tested to see if it is low all you have to do is give blood and see what your level is, if this is the issue than we can actually be cured rather than having to take medication indefinitely just to manage the symptoms.
Halfpipe thats great to hear man trust me dude this is huge you will not regret it I have a team of doctors on my case right now including the guy I told you about who actually created the drug, he says why we have all been having so much trouble with this because accutanes retinoids actually penetrate the nucleus of the cell which can cause genetic mutation, which is soo crazy, but regardless of that the three docs that I have been working with all believe the best bet is growth hormone deficiency, we feel the pin and needles in the beginning because the deficiency has caused systemic nerve damage and the pituitary regulates internal temperature and immune reaction to stress, sexual activity, excreta and it explains why the symptoms fluctuates throughout the day, this is it bro trust me get it tested. I am not saying that lamarr is wrong I think although everyone on this blog has flushing problems there are an abundance of causes and the best endocrinologist on the east cost, one of the creators of the medication, and the leading specialist in internal medicine in the country all feel that my specific cause is due to GHD and if your symptoms are really exactly the same as mine then this is the answer for you too man, I am looking forward to hearing from you and let me know when you get the test results back.
