Hi! So I have been on the regimen for about 2 months now and it's been working well for me. The only problem I have now, is acne scars! and I can't seem to find the right make up for covering it. I have tried different bb creams and foundations and they are either too light for me making me look white or ash or a bit too dark (foundations being worse). I have read great reviews about the BB cream Missha SPF 42, especially for Asian skin tone. I have brown skin with a yellow undertone. So I was thinking of trying it out. If any one has used this BB cream or any other BB cream that's good, please let me know how you liked it. It'll help me a lot and save me from making another futile makeup purchase. Thanks!
I have never tried that one but.... You can also always combine two BB creams together - a lot of people do that to get the right color. I do it to get the right finish (I combine a very matte BB cream with a very dewy one to get the happy medium). If you still have your old BB creams maybe you can try it out.
I also agree with the comment above, except I would do the BB cream first and THEN the concealer so that you can see what the BB cream has covered/what is left to be covered (saves you product in the long run and saves you from putting on more than you need).
I've grown to hate BB cream with a passion. I'm a light-medium brown with yellow/gold undertones, and no BB cream has ever worked for me. Missha would have worked...if it had been more yellow. It ended up being too beige....plus, my face could have been a disco ball with the amount of shine on my face from oil break through and the greasiness from the product. Tried it for about 4 days until the pimples showed up.
All other bb creams I've tried have been too white, too pink, too beige, too gray, too greasy, or they broke me out. The closest one I came to really liking was one from L'egere, but it was too light.
For someone with brown skin and yellow undertones, it's just easier to find a foundation that matches. Plus, there's better coverage. Add some concealer, and it's ten times better than bb cream. In fact, I highly suggest going with a foundation that works for your skin, and skip the bb cream. you can get the bb cream skin benefits by using serums and creams instead.
Thanks so much guys. I tried it out and it suits me well. I was desperately looking for a yellow toned bb cream and this one suits my skin quite well! Foundations always leave me cakey thats why I always opt for a BB cream. And luckily, with the acne.org regimen in place, I no more need a concealer..!! Thanks for the advice guys, I will keep that in mind when I'm applying a full face make up!
