So I have combo skin - my nose/inner cheeks and forehead can get pretty shiny, but my chin area gets SO dry. I feel like when I put primer on my chin it just makes it drier. So my question is, do most people put primer all over their face, or should I just put it on the areas that get oily? (If it matters, I'm using the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer, which makes my oily areas smooth and matte).
I also set my foundation with a translucent powder, but I usually don't put much if any on my chin because I don't want it to get even more dry.
I want the make-up around my chin area to last, but I don't know how to combat the dryness other than going out and getting another primer for dry skin, which seems like such a hassle.
I've never been great with make-up so any tips are appreciated. Thanks!
This is an old post, but I'll answer anyway. There are many primers that have different jobs. You have a primer for making pores invisible. You should put the primer where your pores are the biggest. But other primers, such as moisturizing primers (Too Faced Hangover Primer), can be put everywhere.
If you don't already put moisturizer before your primer, you should!
