Hello ladies,

So I came across Lily Lolo and Ella Rose make-up via the suggestions of other acne.org members. I ordered some samples and thought I would write a comparative review to help out anyone else considering these brands.

Before I begin, I figured it would be good to tell you all a little about my skin. I am 23 y.o. female with fair, oily, and sensitive skin. The cause of my acne is mostly hormonal, which means that my break-outs usually occur around my chin and jaw. I also get breakouts on my cheeks occasionally.

Overall, both of these brands are great! Both are very natural and neither caused me to break out, which is more than I can say about bare minerals. However, the Ella Rose foundation did a better job of covering up redness. The foundation went on smooth and felt silky on my skin. I had to apply many more layers of the Lily Lolo foundation to achieve the same level of coverage.
