Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone out there does stage work (performance) and/or has found a good drugstore cream or liquid foundation that is a) full-coverage, b) long-wearing, c) non-drying, and d) non-comodogenic/acnegeic? I'm starting dress rehearsals for a show where it's pretty imperative I have absolutely flawless skin (I play a child).

I'm not looking for a stage foundation like Ben Nye, I'm just looking for something I can find at Target for a reasonable price. =) And can wear in real life too. Nothing with SPF, that can look really weird under stage lights...

Any recommendations?

I recently wore L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation on stage. It DOES contain SPF, but after the show someone I just met said "your complexion looked flawless on stage." So it must not have looked that weird, haha! I also play a younger character (teenager). Break a leg!

Haha, I love it!

I've definitely worn SPF on stage before but someone told me (not related to my own makeup) that it should be avoided. I ended up buying Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse, and it's been fine, although it doesn't cover quite well enough.
