Can Someone Suggest A Good Primer For Acne Prone Skin?

Most of the ones I've looked at (even the ones specifically for acne prone skin) don't run well through cosdna. Here's some I've tried that either break me out or don't suit my skin:

I've tried a few of the Smashbox ones. They all seem to make my skin red or break me out.

I've tried Korres Face Primer and as much as a loved everything about it, it broke me out.

I've tried Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Primer, which despite have "poreless" in the name, it makes your pores look worse!

Anyone have a suggestion?

Cover FX has good primers. Also, you could use a foundation that has a built-in primer so you won't need a separate primer (like Flower foundation or BareSkin)

My daughter uses one by Almay that works well and doesn't break her out. I'm not sure where you live so that brand may not be available to you.

Have you looked at www.paulaschoice.com ? They rate all types and brands of beauty products and their ratings seem quite thorough and fair. I usually check it out if I am looking for a new product.

Good luck.

I just looked some of those up- they look good! I think I might give the mattifying one with willow bark a shot. Thanks!

I ran a few of the Almay ones through cosdna, they all had high numbers in the comedogenic column :(. I do check paulaschoice sometimes, but I find things that are rated well still break me out. I have very sensitive skin that's sort of hard to cater to haha.

I use Benefits Porefessional it does well with scars and pores. I only like the green one from Smashbox. I need to try the Photo finish primer again.

I've tried so many different primers and by far my favorite is Benefit The Porefessional. It works really well with my dry skin. If you are looking for a drugstore brand L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer and Revlon Photo Ready Color Correcting Primer are both decent.
