Liquid Makeup For Acne!

So, I used to use bare minerals. Bad idea for sensitive combination skin. It doesn't help me. After an hour of it on, it was just about gone and it felt like there was cake batter on my face.

I was told over and over not to try liquid make up- that it would be worse, but then my mother found this Clinique liquid make up for acne prone skin!

You use a brush for liquid make up and cover your entire face, then pat on light foundation to blend (face starts to get slightly shiny after a good while because of well, upset sebaceous glands, so I just use oil absorbing sheets and reapply in the middle of the day).

Overall, I have to say this stuff covers better than bare minerals and doesn't melt off like bm did.

If you have found that straight powdered makeup becomes hopeless wet paint on your skin, give this stuff a try! :D

Also, in the before and after comparison image, the before picture was actually one of my good face days so if you might consider a switch to this, don't worry, it could cover just as well if your skin looks worse!

Lots of mineral foundations are worse for acne than liquids because they contain Bismuth Oxychloride and many other irritating ingredients.

Lots of liquid foundations can be bad for acne too though, because of the comedogenic ingredients some have.

My best advice is just to ignore all the myths and wivestales that people tell you and just do what works for your skin! (do be aware of comedogenic ingredients in products though)....

Anyway I'm glad you've found something that works for you, and you're extremely beautiful :)
