I'm the same, I don't hugely like flowery perfumes.
Hugo Boss - Deep Red
Dior - Pure Poison
Givenchy - Ange ou Demon
In the day time I just use Soap and Glory body spray which is SO cheap and really fresh smelling.
All the perfumes I like are HORRENDOUSLY expensive, so lame. I got bought a Chanel one which I don't like so much, I actually keep it in my car to mask the smell of smoke. My boyfriend saw it in the glove compartment and bought me another bottle. Meh...

Yes!Soap and Glory is great stuff...that spray is lovely. They stopped selling it at Target which made me so sad but they are now going to sell it at Sephoras starting this month.
Not sure if that means anything to you non American gals lol:-P
It was a toss-up between Deep Red and Intense, I got Intense and paid out the arse for it because I don't know the value of a dollar (I'm so gen Y it hurts). I'd buy it again but probably online. I just like to have things yesterday instead of waiting for the post. Nobody has told me I smell nice yet. Fail. Oh, except for my best friend, who can rationalize paying $160 for a 60ml bottle of perfume. I love her. Together we're mass money squanderers.
I use body sprays too because I can keep them in my bag. And they cost $5. I love how I can cheap out and overspend on different things.
My ex used to buy me the perfume I wore all the time, which was nice, until every birthday/anniversary/Christmas present became that perfume. It got a bit overkill.
I smelled Kim Kardashian's perfume (I can't remember what it's called). Very expensive but smells like cheap hookers and candy. I guess that's how I imagine she would smell. Very, very sweet and not worth the price tag.
We have no Sephora here.
I'm a sucker for perfume !
I love Anna SUI, sui dreams, A oriental vanilla smell it's fruity yet softly sweet, not sweet like a giant pie that your forced to wear on your head or anything
I also love, Harajuku lovers G, some of that range smells awful, G is one of the only ones I like hehe.
Nina Ricci, Nina, is also lovely,
xxx

This made me giggle because I pictured myself wearing a giant pie on my head. Stylin'!
My friend spent $160 on perfume last night. I'm pretty sure she bought something by Marc Jacobs. Justified!
I like the cooler scents, kind of masculine but not OVERLY so. I've tried sweet ones before, they make me feel sick after a little while, like I've eaten too much candy (or pie, hahaha).
Day scent:: Body Shop's Japanese Cherry Blossom
Night scent: Midnight Poison by Dior, but I also like Pure Poison a lot
I have ran out of Midnight Poison unfortunately, so I use Lady Million by Paco Rabbane, which I kind of love and kind of hate...I like the smell when I put it on, but after I while it only has one tone, and smells too teenager perfume like, I don't know how to explain it. Basically I think it makes me smell like a 16 year old girl by the end of the night.
I also like the original Amarige by Givenchy for night, and Insolence by Guerlain for day.
i love gucci guilty
Christian Lacroix 'Rouge'. I confess to first buying it because of the beautiful bottle, but the scent is really nice. Like a sweet, sharp musk. It's a bit of a more agressive kind of scent compared to floral/fruity perfumes. The guy I'm kind of seeing (oh, how I hate this stage) goes bonkers over it, but to be honest I've been wearing it since I first started caring about perfume anyway. Neither of my exs ever commented on my perfume, although the most recent one went mad over my deodrant which was weird.
No joke, Love ETC from The Body Shop. Oh my god, it's like heaven in a bottle! My fiance goes crazy when I wear it.
I don't like fruity scents. I like clean, elegant, sexy "musks" if you will. Nothing too overpowering.
I have tons of different perfumes and body sprays. But I agree with this!!! My bf actually is the one who buys it for me cause he loves it. I got the pack for Christmas last year perfume/ body wash. Drives him wild.
I also like Vanilla Fields , the Halle Berry Collection and the Addidas Fruity Rythym
right now my new fave is prada candy. its the most delicious thing ever. sometimes i layer my lavanila pure vanilla over it and i cant even describe how amazing i smell lol. i also love dg light blue even though everyone wears it and the new juicy la fleur is amazing too. OH and marc jacobs daisy and daisy eau so fresh.... omgggg i love everythingggg
I second Euphoria by Calivin Klein.
If you are looking for something slightly masculine, Burberry is great. I've tried a lot of their scents (maybe all ;
.
I really like sweet scents, but don't feel they suit how I look (not very sweet...), so right now Im using Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I think it smells slightly masculine as well, but still nice.
You should go to a perfume shop and try them out on your own skin though. I've found the way they smell when I'm wearing them is often different than on the perfume sticks or just smelling the bottle. Good luck
I may be somewhat biased, but I love most perfumes by Britney Spears. I have almost all of them because they smell so sweet and fruity. My favourite is Midnight Fantasy because it smells so yummy, but I also love Fantasy, Curious, Circus Fantasy, Hidden Fantasy.
I really want Taylor Swift's because I tried it once and liked it. The ladybug perfume (by Marc Jacobs?) is soooo lovely but too expensive. I guess I like sweet/fruity scents.
