I'd love to know if anyone has the same issues I do: I'm male 32 and have had spots since I was about sixteen. My skin was never too bad, but I'd get frequent and persistent painful acne on my chin and occasionally nose. After trying many things I eventually took accutane which cleared me up. A few years on and the acne came back so I went on it again. Then since about 2016 my skin has been clear even though I stopped taking the medication in about 2017. In the last year I've started breaking out again, and for the last four months I've broken out once a month. And usually it's just one or two spots but they are very red and painful/large. They take about a week to form then another three after that for the redness to go away. People always say I'm over worrying but I don't want to deal with painful lumps on my face forever. Can anyone advise anything for hormonal acne that appears on the chin? I've tried most of the creams but the only thing that made my spots go away for good was accutane. I eat well, don't smoke and I reguarly exercise.
It's frustrating when accutane isn't the cure you wanted. I was in the same boat. The Regimen will keep you clear. Also, at 32, it might be interesting to ask your doc about getting retinoids into the mix perhaps.
Hi,My name is Abbey, and Im a mother of two wonderful kids. Ive been battling hormonal acne for quite some time, trying out various solutions but without much success. Recently, I started using Frequency Audio Therapy, and Ive noticed some improvement, which is encouraging. However, Im eager to find more effective options that could provide better results. I joined this community to connect with others who may have faced similar challenges. Id appreciate any advice or recommendations you might have. Thank you!
I'm a broken record, but The Regimen is my best advice. It will clear you up. It just flat out works.
