I'm 29. I wish my acne hadn't just come back with a vengeance after 4 years of nearly acne-free bliss. It's been like a stealth attack, out of nowhere, suddenly it is all over my face.Thank God for this site...it is the best. You guys are the best - reading all these posts, I finally feel comforted, like I'm not the only one dealing with this...which is that it sometimes feels like, walking around...why does EVERYONE seem to have clear skin?
I'm 25 years old, had acne in varying intensities since my late teens. Usually pretty mild, but sometimes moderate and I have had some slight cystic acne as well. Currently taking Bactrim, Duac and Finacea. I haven't had an lesions appearing in about a month, so I am hopeful that I will be able to get off the Bactrim soon.
I hate acne so much. I keep hoping I will grow out of it eventually. I eat right, I exercise, and I rarely if ever miss doses of my medications.
Hi BettyBoop,
I am 47, was on accutane 3 times and not sure if I should try it again. It helps for a while, but then it comes back. I keep thinking that this will go away. Have you always had continual break outs, or do they come and go? I had a long period of time with no break outs, and now they are back again. I am thinking of using BC pills because they helped in the past.
I am also checking into Fraxel for my rolling scars.
Don't want to upset anyone, but I'm going to be 60 next fall. It came back, and I'm on accutane again....
