I'm currently 25 and will be 26 in less than a month. I have been dealing with acne issues for more than half of my life at this point. It used to be only mild, but then I got sick. I'm a little bit healthier now, so it's slowly starting to clear. Still looks like crap, though.
GAH 29 but act waaaaayyyy too young for my agehad the curse for nearly 2 years
A kid at heart, huh?
that isn't a bad thing you know.
But now that i think about, i would have never guessed you at 29. What's your secret, must have been all the diet changes. I guess the positive thing about having acne is, you watch what you eat. Go figure.
Im 42 ugh and im still getting acne.I have had acne ever since I was 12 so thats 30 years of acne longer than most of you have been on this earth.my dermatologist told me only 1 percent of adult males get acne.I think what she meant is guys over 35 lucky me.I cant stand acne as everyone here cant.I was acne free for about 2 years then it all came back again.you think by the time your my age acne would be over right?guess again.I hope no one here has acne as long as I have.Im still fighting the acne battle grrrrrrrrrrrr.
I got you beat,im 52 had cystic acne start when i was 20.Waaaaaaaa
So, only one person older than me on this entire site that still suffers. It is dreadful to deal with, but it never gets any easier to deal with emotionally than what it was when we were teens. Mine hit the hardest in my early twenties, then accutane knocked it down good after the second course for about almost eight years. I really think stress from college and marriage kicked it in gear again; it has been a battle ever since.

I am 39 going 40 this year. Had been battling with acne since early 20s. Finally had clear skin about 2 years back. Was looking forward to hit the big 40 until last year when my acne trouble started again. This time round is the worse of all. Big, inflammed cystic acne and still battling it.
