I'm 22 years old and I've had this left sided acne for quite some time. I do sleep on my left side, but I change my pillowcase every other day, flipping it the next day. I also use a sensitive detergent brand that doesn't use any perfumes or dyes. I use a cleanser twice a day alongside a moisturizer, but nothing seems to get rid of it. I've also tried benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. Am I doing something wrong with my skin routine? Could it be the pillowcase material that is irritating my skin, if so, what do you recommend? I've also tried to learn to sleep on my other side or on my back, but no success with that so far, it's very difficult after having always slept on my left side for so long. All leave some pictures down below of some my mentions throughout the post, any and all help is highly appreciated!

Washing your pillowcase definitely helps, but also look at the actual pillow. If Its old or has stains on it you might try washing it or buying a new one. A pillowcase wont fully protect your face from a dirty pillow. Ive heard silk pillowcases could help, but you might have to look further into that. From looking at youre photos it seems its also around your facial hair. Shaving could be irritating the skin or not using a clean razor every time. Clean electric razors often and if using a regular razor, clean and change blades often (blades are expensive so I know that sucks.) If using any hair products they could be a cause especially at night because it transfers to your pillowcase and onto your face. Also try a night time acne targeting moisturizer. Im definitely not an expert, but I figured if any tip could potentially help then its worth mentioning.
