I have had acne since I was 10 and I am now 38. I have never had cystic acne but just 3 days ago the largest bump I have ever had in my life appeared on my left lower cheek. There are other clusters of bumps on my cheek and near my nostril. At the same time the bumps appeared, I have been experiencing headaches, pressure behind my left eye, pain in my teeth and gums chewing on my left side, pain in my left ear and shooting pain in my left temple. All of these symptoms may be due to sinuses. Is there a correlation between staph and sinus infection or a correlation between acne and sinus infection? Attached is a picture of the bumps. Is it acne or staph?
