If you primarily suffer from break outs around your nose, cheek, and chin, adult-acne.jpg

your acne-causing bacteria may be living in your nostrils. 30% of the population are thought to be persistent Staphylococcus aureus nasal carriers. http://cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/45/4/475.full

If your break outs predominate around your ear, neck, jawline and temples/forehead

the acne-causing bacteria may reside in your ears. S. aureus http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12542200 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/226748-clinical are two potential ear members that are known to cause folliculitis.

That's interesting. I recently read a thread on here where someone cleared their acne by taking care of that staph infection. Too bad I get mine any and everywhere. Depending on what I eat.
