20 years of battle against acne. Not sure how bad accutane (3x) messed my skin up. Just can't control having a few pimples appearing. Tried it all. Change of diet. soaps, OTC topicals, prescription topicals, oral antibiotics. The acne is still here.

Started coal tar soap this week, after a breakout probably due to vitamins.

Anyone else using such soap?

Ingredients:

Sodium palmitate

Sodium cocoate

Aqua sodium chloride

Sodium hydroxide

TetrassodiumEDTA

Pinus palustris

o-Tolil biguanide

Safe to use on facial skin?

Not sure which ingredient was not good in this soap, but I broke out majorely. Will not use again!

Have you looked at the "Allergen of the Year Awards?" It may give you some clues about problem-ingredients.

thanks. I have cut down on soap. Trying sauna to get my skin cleaned inside out and give it a break.
